As part of second quarter (Jan’12 to Mar’12) activity plan of the MJF (Manusher Jonno Foundation) -funded project, Capacity Enhancement of the Rights of the Small Ethnic Groups and Disadvantaged Communities for Policy Advocacy of Maleya Foundation, a 2-day long workshop on Forest Act 1927 was organized jointly by Maleya Foundation and Movement for the Protection of Forest and Land Rights in CHT at Maleya hall, Rangamati from 10-11 March, 2012. Chaired by His Majesty Raja Devasish Roy, who is currently holding the post of chairman of Maleya Foundation, the entire program was moderated by Mr. Sudatta Bikash Tangchangya, general secretary of Movement for the Protection of Forest and Land Rights in CHT.
