It is a society that draws inspiration from its ancient traditions of collective ownership and community participation that are respectful of diversity in nature and among peoples and communities.

Membership of Maleya is open to the representatives of all indigenous peoples’ organizations of Bangladesh that registered with an appropriate government agency.
